Race Tip

GANAPATHI can retain his unbeaten record over fences by following up his recent course win. A 140-rated hurdler last year, he had appeared to lose his way somewhat before making an impressive fencing debut last month. Stepping up in trip should see him in an even better light now and Kieran Callaghan taking 7lbs off his back is the icing on the cake. Baptism Of Fire was very good at Kilbeggan in April before finishing second behind a smart handicapper last time. With most of his best form coming over further, he would appreciate if this turned into something of a stamina test. Il Courra got off the mark over fences at Limerick on his latest start and has already won a bumper at this venue. Cormac Farrell does very well with the small string he races under rules.
