Race Tip

Mulberry Hill was only beaten half a length over 2m4f here last time and is interesting off just 1lb higher, while Calum Gilhooley was a good winner at Bangor when last seen but might just need this outing after 11 months off the track. Geordie Des Champs ran well in a handicap on Summer Cup day here last month and gets another chance off the same mark, but preference is for WBEE. Gary Hanmer's gelding suffered a small injury on his one poor outing at Haydock, which was also on good to soft, but showed no ill-effects when back to winning ways at Cartmel last time and could bounce off the sound surface on offer.
