Race Tip

LARIAT is certainly not a frequent winner but has been running consistently and should give a good account again. He snapped a long losing run at Bellewstown in April when staying on well over 1m6f and has been placed in both starts since. He can be ridden positively over this trip with stamina assured. Pretty Little Liar seems to be running back into form and, having made the frame behind the selection at Bellewstown, was a creditable fourth to a very well-handicapped rival at Leopardstown. David Dunne's mare, who was in good form over jumps during the autumn, is likely to play a part in the finish. Made For Minds was well-backed when a place behind Pretty Little Liar at Leopardstown and is now tried in blinkers while Nusra was unfortunate to bump into the progressive Unanswered at Limerick and that winner has franked the form under both codes since then.
