Pierce Molony Memorial Novice Chase (Grade 3)
2m 2f
Going: Yielding (Yielding to Soft in places)
Surface: Turf
Draw Advantage: NoneFELIX DESJY is a high-class horse on his day and should appreciate the drop in grade and can win. A Grade 1 winner over hurdles, he won a Grade 2 novice chase last November before being placed in another top level race over Christmas. He finished last in a high-class Arkle Chase at Leoparstown latest and while he clearly needs to do better today, today's race is far less competitive and he will be much more in his comfort zone. I'm A Game Changer finished 5.75L ahead of FELIX DESJY in that Arkle Chase run and while I'm A Game Changer is an able type, he would struggle to uphold placings were FELIX DESJY to return to near his best today. I'm A Game Change himself subsequently finished 5.5L ahead of Jack Hackett at Navan latest, with both horses holding sound place claims here. Zarkareva is another with place claims. She hasn't run since being well beaten at Cheltenham in November but had previously won a Grade 3 in October and drying ground is very much in her favour. Montagne D'argent
