Race Tip

WESTERN SEA has won a couple here and off a low weight may be able to strike again. Ross O'Sullivan is enjoying a fine season and this Westerner gelding won off a 3lb higher mark over fences here last month. He had also won a handicap hurdle here a few years ago over two miles and it looks an obvious move to try him again over timber as he now enjoys a 7lb lower mark in this sphere. The Greek won a competitive contest at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day and despite a 7lb rise for that the consistent gelding could be a danger. Cregane Ned has been knocking on the door and is another that has to come into calculations.
