Race Tip

Lady Jane P won on her debut at Newton Abbot before finding the ground too soft at Cheltenham last November. She clearly goes well fresh and should be happier on this surface, but she has to give 7lb or more away and may have to settle for a place. Mattie Ross ran well when second on her first start for Richard Phillips at Ludlow and looks the sort to keep on improving, but a chance is taken with LADY THISTLEDOWN. This will be her racecourse debut but the daughter of Shirocco is certainly bred to be decent and she won't need to be anything too special to come home in front.
