Race Tip

THE GOSSIPER can come on from his seasonal reappearance fifth in a Sligo maiden last month. He clocked up three bumper successes in 2021 and had been off since last summer before that outing in Sligo. That should have blown the cobwebs away and he will welcome the rain as a former heavy-ground winner. Royal Romeo hasn't been out since dead heating for first in a Fairyhouse bumper in November. He is respected for the Noel Meade/Colin Keane axis. Plains Indian has been in good form over hurdles with victories in Clonmel and Ballinrobe this year along with several solid placed efforts. He looks well worth a spin in a staying Flat maiden. Busselton was a beaten favourite in Down Royal but could bounce back.
