Race Tip

EIGHTY EIGHT impressed at Gowran Park recently, beating a horse that subsequently won the Ulster Derby. He always looked in control at the County Kilkenny venue, so much so, that the 8lbs rise may not be enough to stop him. Johnny Murtagh does really well with these improving handicappers and the son of Dragon Pulse could have more to come. Elmos Fire chased home a well handicapped horse at Killarney in May, before reverting to maiden class at Listowel recently. He was a good winner on that latter occasion and seems to be progressing. Mister Wilson disappointed at Haydock when last seen but had made a pleasing stable debut at Naas previously. He shouldn't be written off after that one below par run. Knocklane Lass and Dark Vega also merit close inspection.
