LETTER OF THE LAW was having his first run on turf at Bath last month when a staying-on second and the cheekpieces are again applied. Autumn Festival is already a winner twice this season having scored at Redcar and most recently Beverley, showing that the step up in trip and being gelded seems to have worked wonders. Sweet Mist needs to bounce back following a lacklustre display at Southwell in February but has been freshened up since.
