Race Tip

BALLYBAWN BELTER was good enough to win a Leopardstown bumper on debut and could make a successful transition to hurdling. That was a slowly-run affair but she travelled well to put her rivals away. Afterwards, her trainer commented that she jumps well. Ballyquin Bay was nicely backed ahead of his debut at Naas. He came home eighth in that big field, but the fact that three horses that finished in front of him have since won puts his effort in a better light. Vocito has been placed in three hurdle races to earn a mark of 110. His experience is an asset in this race. Female Approach won twice on the Flat for Noel Meade and is sure to be well schooled for her hurdling debut. Red Glory was successful on the Flat in Britain for Ed Dunlop and has switched to Henry de Bromhead. He is well worth checking for market strength.
