William Hill Ireland Play Responsibly 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle

  • 3YO
  • Winner £7200

  • 20 runners

2m

Going: Good to Yielding (Yielding in places)

Surface: Turf

Draw Advantage: None

Race Tip

Prairie Dancer and Ben Siegel, who were double winners on the Flat, switch to hurdling and must be given a market check. SAYWHATYOUWANT was placed twice on the Flat for Jack Davison and has joined Gordon Elliott. She will know her job on her first crack at hurdles. Doctor Brown Bear showed marked improvement to chase home the winner of a three-year-old maiden hurdle in Fairyhouse, and should be on the premises again. Brazil is a full-brother to Irish Derby winner Capri, so juvenile hurdling probably wasn't on the agenda when he started out on the Flat last summer. This former Curragh maiden winner is a fascinating runner. Gentleman Joe won on the level at Kempton and has joined Henry de Bromhead. He is another who can get in the mix. There is surely more to come from Loughisle Lady. Rebel Step showed plenty of ability on the Flat and could go well.
