Richard Hughes' charge was far from disgraced when finishing in midfield in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot last time and this longer trip and a 2lb lower mark could give him a big chance. Sky Defender is interesting off what looks a workable rating, while You're Hired bounced back to form over a mile at Bath last time and a repeat of his Cambridgeshire fourth from last year would put him in the mix.
