Summer Ladies Day May 28th Maiden
1m 2f
Going: Good (Good to Firm in places)
Surface: Turf
Draw Advantage: NoneCOUGAR took a good step forward from his only juvenile run when reappearing over this trip at the Curragh last month. The Deep Impact colt was prominent throughout when runner-up to Glory Daze, who went on to finish second in the Group 3 Derby Trial at Leopardstown last Sunday. Shajak kept on into fifth on debut in that Curragh maiden and looks well capable of winning races. Ceallach should be well suited by this extra quarter-mile having kept on nicely over a mile on both outings this year. The form of his latest third behind Wexford Native at Navan has been working out well. Paris Lights never got involved in that race after a slow start, eventually finishing fifth, but is a factor on a couple of promising runs last year. The selection's stablemate Newfoundland, Vega Magnifico and Impero are others to consider in a very competitive maiden.
