Race Tip

A cracking race. Double Irish St Leger winner SEARCH FOR A SONG should get her favoured good ground and can return with a win. Dermot Weld's Galileo mare ran right away from her rivals in a Group 3 at the Curragh in September before signing off for the season the following month with a fourth in the Group 1 Prix Royal-Oak in France. Baron Samedi took this race last year and will be sharper after a fourth place in Riyadh and an unplaced run in Meydan. He was third in last year's Irish St Leger and is certainly one for the shortlist. Princess Zoe is an absolute credit to Tony Mullins and will come on from an unplaced run in that aforementioned race in Riyadh in February. It is likely that she would prefer some juice in the ground but she is well capable of mixing it. Kyprios is a potential improver over this new trip. Sunchart made a long odds-on favourite work hard for victory in Gowran Park.
