Race Tip

THE LADY'S BID won a division of this apprentice handicap on quick ground two years ago and could go well again under the very capable Wesley Joyce. The Famous Name mare isn't the most consistent but won first time out last term at Gowran so a lay-off since her reappearance in June isn't a concern, and she has dropped back to a competitive mark. Evergreen And Red won over this distance at Cork on handicap debut and should be suited by going back up in trip after last month's fifth over a mile at Galway. Dream Wisely was only beaten fractions over course and distance in June but it will be difficult to overcome a wide draw, while the consistent Duquesa Beach has yet to prove she's fully effective over this far. Jazzelle and her less-exposed stablemate Chacha Dancer both went close at Leopardstown last month over a furlong shorter and were doing their best work at the finish.
