Race Tip

GENTLEMAN DE MEE was a useful sort over hurdles last year winning a Naas maiden and also running with credit in handicaps at the big spring Festival meetings. The free running French-bred gelding has progressed with each run over fences this term and readily landed the odds in a Thurles beginners event last month. He wouldn't have looked out of place on the Mullins team for Cheltenham and this looks a good piece of placing in a Grade 3. Grange Walk has been a great servant to connections winning three times this season including a handicap off 130 at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and again ran well there off a 7lb higher mark at the Dublin Racing Festival last month. Velvet Elvis has the beating of Fancy Foundations on running behind Ciel De Neige here in December.
