Race Tip

Johnny Levins had a difficult time last year when his horses weren't quite right for a while but they returned to form over the winter at Dundalk and he's already had a couple of winners on turf this season. He has two strong contenders here and NORDIC PASSAGE may confirm Curragh form with the less-exposed Carlton Banks. The selection, who won four times in 2020, was narrowly beaten in a big field handicap on his reappearance at headquarters. Stablemate Carlton Banks, a course and distance maiden winner at the backend, came home well after a slow start to finish sixth in the same event and should have learned plenty from that first run in a handicap. Half Nutz is a course specialist at Naas and should be sharper after finishing fourth on his first start for his new yard here last month while Additional had some useful fast ground form in Britain before being acquired for 52,000gns by his new connections in the autumn.
