Race Tip

GABBYS GIRL looks ideally suited to reverting to 7f. She disappointed over 5.5f at Navan but had previously shown useful form at this trip and her runner-up placing at Leopardstown in August is stand-out form (the third and fifth won maidens subsequently). Gaire Os Ard was 1.25L behind GABBYS GIRL in Leopardstown and the pair are set to meet on identical terms with Kevin Manning flagging 2lbs overweight. Nawraq is useful but was beaten by the selection at Bellewstown, although beat Gaire Os Ard at Down Royal, with Whynotmyfriend fourth. Eurocrat has nice ability and while proven at this trip and on good ground, is set to carry top weight. Joe Masseria was reported to be 'blowing hard post race' at Navan but had previously run well on Roscommon debut. Corporal Violette was a 25,000gns breeze-up purchase in April and is from the family of Aussie Rules while Singsong Lady is a half-sister to eight winners and could also run well.
