Race Tip

EVERGREEN AND RED progressed nicely when winning twice on the Flat last year including over ten furlongs at Cork. The Requinto gelding, a half-brother to Lady Shanawell who won twice in juvenile hurdles for Ben Haslam, is sure to be well schooled by Noel Meade and gets the vote on his jumping debut. Faron showed a similar level of form to the selection on the Flat including when going close at Dundalk in November, while Man O Work probably has the best piece of form over hurdles having kept on behind Icare Allen at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and can be expected to improve from that debut run. Brunello and Global Export also showed some promise on their hurdling debut and should progress with that experience under their belt.
