Host never really got to grips with the race over 7f at Wolverhampton but has better form at this trip, including when second in a maiden here in January. Laxton Ladd certainly wasn't stopping when attempting to make all over 7f at Newcastle, but the horse who may improve most for this distance is WURLITZER. Alan King's charge was gaining with every stride in the closing stages over 7f at Wolverhampton and has been gelded since that run, so could be ready to roll on his return.
