Race Tip

Denis O'Regan rode a patient race on CORKBEG at Wexford and the pair get the opportunity to follow up on that success. That was a shorter trip that the six-year-old gelding won over last weekend, but he has winning form over a similar distance to this. Roman Parish showed marked improvement to chase home the winner in Clonmel. If he is as effective on this better ground, he will have a fair chance. Roccorionach was gambled on in Killarney before finishing fourth. That was her first run for this stable and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her improve upon that on this drop in trip. Toon Town finished second in a slowly run handicap hurdle over 2m at this track in March. That was a big step forward and there could be more in the tank.
