Race Tip

BARRYS ROCK has been edging closer to a first victory and might get his turn from a good draw. He was beaten less than a length when third over this trip at Tipperary and put a below-par run at Gowran behind him when second over 1m2f at Fairyhouse last time. He generally comes from off the pace and will need luck in running but the stiff finish will be to his advantage. Heer At Dawn showed improvement when fourth in a big field handicap at Navan. She didn't quite get home over 1m2f and this shorter trip may be just about right for her. Tooso was given an 8lb hike for finishing second in a claimer at Gowran which won't help her chance, but at least the winner followed up next time to frank the form. Jazz Dreamers comes here in form but has been done no favours by the draw.
