Race Tip

A maiden winner over C&D at two, McTIGUE can record a second win at this venue after a fine second in a premier handicap at the Curragh on Irish Derby weekend. That was a big improvement on the form of his previous starts this term and he can defy a 3lb higher mark in this less competitive contest. All In The Mind has been progressive this season and built on his maiden win at Tipperary with a runner-up berth over 7f at the Curragh. He's risen quite sharply in the ratings but comes here in great fettle and has to be respected. Howth was beaten less than a length in a Group 2 over C&D last season but has been well held in stakes company since. He drops in grade now with a 7lb claimer employed and a more prominent showing would be no surprise.
