Neil Ryan had a big day at Down Royal on Sunday when partnering a double and may be able to strike again here on FUTURUM REGEM. He gave Hugh Finegan's charge a well timed ride to get up late on at Navan ten days ago. That was over two-and-a-half miles and stepping up in trip can bring more improvement from the progressive five-year-old. Pour Pavore comes here on a hat-trick and has to be respected. He also got home in a tight finish at Clonmel but the front two pulled well clear then. He has to defy a 12lb hike now. At the top of the handicap Gentlemansgame has to be respected having been runner-up in two Grade 1 events last season. He has to give away chunks of weight on his return but is a classy performer.
