Race Tip

New Day failed to see off her rivals over shorter when trying to make all at Nottingham last time out but should be better suited by the mile and a half here and looks likely to tow them along despite top weight. She won't be easy to pass but giving 9lb to Sir Michael Stoute's Moonlit Night could prove to be a big ask. Although unsighted in three starts and beaten a long way at Newmarket last time out she makes her handicap debut here of a lowly mark of just 63 which may yet prove to be pretty generous. She should go well but preference is still for LADY PACIFICO who has her first start for Tom Clover after arriving from France following a close up third at Nantes, which may yet be the best form on offer.
