Race Tip

MUMAYAZ ran a nice race on handicap debut at the Curragh recently and could be suited by a marked step up in trip today. He showed just ordinary form in maidens but was gelded prior to his Curragh ran, where he finished his race well and wasn't beaten far. Howth, a half-brother to Cayenne Pepper, beat MUMAYAZ 6.5L in May and has proven form but nonetheless gives away plenty weight to all. Play By The Rules ran well in a useful race (the runner-up was second at Listed level next time out) over course and distance in July and should go well. Cuala Bula has been running consistently well in maidens while Bellabel was outclassed in the Ballyhane Stakes at Naas recently but had shown useful form in maidens and could also be better suited to a return to a mile today.
