Race Tip

TRUCE stayed on well to be third over course and distance on yielding ground in July and was touched off at Galway over a furlong further last time. Joseph O'Brien's 72-rated filly can go one better. Stablemate Happywifehappylife was made favourite for that race at Galway after coming home first in a barrier trial and ran respectably to be fifth. She's open to improvement but has over eight lengths to find with the selection. Glinting was second in a similar standard of maiden at Limerick in June and, despite not being seen since, has to be respected on just her third career start. Couer Battant reversed Curragh form with Magic Word when fourth at Roscommon and, being out of a mare by Pivotal, might be able to handle easy ground.
