Race Tip

MOLLY WEDGER has a good record at Killarney and should run well in this ultra-competitive affair. Third in a similar contest over the course and distance in May, she since won here in July. Narrowly beaten on the level at Tramore last week, that effort will have left her fighting fit for this assignment. Willie Mullins saddles Finest Evermore and Berkshire Royal, with the latter given second preference. He has failed to make an impact on the level of late but was a fine sixth in a fiercely competitive 24-runner contest at the Punchestown Festival on his most recent start over flights. Rated 14lb higher over fences, Snugsborough Hall reverts to the smaller obstacles for the first time since March. The Liam Cusack-trained gelding has a course and distance win to his name and has been knocking on the door in recent months. Vultan is an interesting contender but is difficult to assess, returning from a lengthy absence, taking a significant step-up in trip. Charles Byrnes saddles Doctor Duf
