Race Tip

SUN KING looked like he would improve plenty from the experience of his first run at Galway and may be able to take a nice step forward now. The Galileo colt was on and off the bridle for most of the race first time but made up a fair bit of ground turning for home having come under pressure three furlongs out. Fiach McHugh is an obvious contender having been placed on his last two runs. The Andy Slattery-trained colt was just denied by a head by another Ballydoyle colt, in Aikhal, at Listowel last week. He kept on well to the line then and stepping up a furlong may help him now. Market moves for the Paddy Twomey-trained newcomer Show Of Stars would be interesting. The Showcasing filly cost £100,000 as a yearling and holds an entry in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
