DHUSHAN hit the crossbar twice in maidens prior to getting off the mark very easily in a novice race over 1m4f at this track in April. On his sole subsequent outing, the son of Sea The Stars scored on his handicap bow in a valuable event at Musselburgh a month ago. William Haggas' colt had plenty in hand on that occasion and a 7lb rise may underestimate his ability, especially as he may well improve for this step up in trip. Mark Johnston has won this race twice in recent years, including with the subsequent St Leger second Sir Ron Priestley in 2019, and all three of his representatives today merit respect. That said, Harlem Soul may be the pick of them given that he is unexposed and progressive, although Kondo Isami should not be written off.
