Race Tip

Sheila Lavery's horses are going well and MODDY PODDLE can be another winner for her after a fine run at Leopardstown. Stepping up to ten furlongs for the first time, the Pride Of Dubai filly finished well to be third to Aurora Princess who followed up under a penalty and a 3lb hike in the ratings looks fair. Kalaroun ran respectably in some very hot maidens last year and, with a run under his belt this season, could get involved on handicap debut with this longer trip likely to suit. Bears Hug has placed form over 7f at Dundalk and might get into contention if seeing out the extra distance.
