Race Tip

Rekero was bought for a massive 725,000 pounds as a yearling and makes his official debut here after finishing sixth in a barrier trial at Dundalk last September. The son of Fastnet Rock is out of three-time Group 1 winner Pride and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. A case can be made for many of the field. with AGRIMONY one of the safer options. The chestnut colt has filled the runner-up spot on his two starts to date and would be a deserving winner. County Wicklow and Emporio represent Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien respectively and both have solid claims. The latter was a beaten favourite on his most recent start and is fitted with a tongue strap for the first time. Navan runner-up Too Nice, Dermot Weld's Probe and Great Realisation are others for the shortlist.
