Race Tip

Third on debut here last month, TEXAS MOON might be able to open his account now. Bought for just 4,000 euros as a yearling, the son of Dawn Approach was over six lengths behind the winner on his first start, but is entitled to come on plenty for that effort. Flying Hawaiian was a place behind the selection on his most recent outing and he reopposes. Colin Keane takes over in the saddle from Sam Ewing and a bold bid looks likely from the Free Eagle gelding. Metaphorical hasn't set the world alight in three starts to date, but is fitted with blinkers for the first time now and they could bring about improvement. The Joseph O'Brien trained Figlio D'arte is related to plenty of winners and he warrants respect, while newcomer Eaglefield is another to consider. The Jim Bolger trained gelding is a half-brother to smart sprinters, Katla and Rapid Reaction, and it'll be interesting to see how he fares on debut.
