Race Tip

Anthony McCann went close with a 66/1 chance when Indian Raj was beaten just a nose at Naas during the week and his course-and-distance winner LITTLE CAMACHO can give a good account of herself here. The six-year-old shaped well when fifth at Fairyhouse last time and Sam Ewing's presence in the saddle is a valuable asset in this type of race. Fit For Function has been runner-up on three occasions since winning at Dundalk in April and, despite a wide draw, looks sure to run well again. Beleaguerment, who came home strongly when just failing to get up over a mile at Naas, is an infrequent winner but has been successful over this trip in the past and has to enter calculations along with Majestic Matriarch, a respectable fifth at Killarney latest.
