FIGHTING FIT was well held in three beginners chases but makes his handicap chase debut from a favourable mark, at a suitable distance. A dual hurdles winner last term, he is rated 7lb higher over hurdles than today's 109 chase mark and while well held in previous chases, drops slightly in distance and has a light weight. Soviet Pimpernel is himself rated 13lb higher over hurdles and while a Grade 3 winner in that sphere, his jumping over fences has been disappointing. He ran a nice enough race at Thurles latest when jumping carefully and while he has the ability to get involved, faces experienced handicappers. Montagne D'Argent was well held on yard debut and seasonal reappearance last month but has good form from last season and can get involved. Halsafari and Arahecan are closely enough matched on last month's Cork form, when Weihnachts was well beaten.
