ESKIMO KOMET showed plenty of promise on his debut here in early November and can land an average looking maiden now. The Red Jazz colt was up on the pace first time before losing his place early in the straight. He stayed on again late on to finish third then over a mile in a bunch finish and should have learned plenty from the experience. The runner-up Together Aclaim has been second twice since while the fourth horse, Alooqaal, has run well to also be second since so the form looks solid. National Generaux sets the standard off a mark of 75. He has improved with each run and chased home an easy winner in Dandy Warhol here three weeks ago. Shining Crystal was fifth, in behind National Generaux, last time and looks to have place claims now.
