Race Tip

FINE LACE is certainly bred in the purple being a Frankel half-sister to Group 1 Nassau Stakes winner Winsili and indicated ability on debut when staying on into sixth in a 23-runner maiden at the Curragh last month. She should progress from that experience and may appreciate this sounder surface. Gudrid didn't enjoy the clearest of passages in the aforementioned Curragh maiden and that was her first outing since a promising debut at Leopardstown back in April. Smart Dandy was second in a barrier trial here in August that has thrown up a couple of subsequent winners and it will be interesting to see if the betting market speaks in his favour. Lolly Yeats made a bright start when fourth to Emporio at the Curragh back in June but hasn't really progressed since, while barrier trial winner Daisy Jones is another to consider.
