Deodar created a really good impression on debut at Newbury once the penny dropped and looks a nice horse for Ralph Beckett to go to war with next year. It would come as no surprise if he won again here, but preference is for experience and FLAMING RIB has won four of his eight starts this year, including his last three. He was deemed good enough for the Woodcote and Windsor Castle earlier in the season and is coming good now. Gold Medal is another to keep an eye on.
