Race Tip

Empirestateofmind was a hugely progressive sort at the end of last season, winning half of his last six starts and finishing second in the other three. He has to be considered, as does General Lee, who won well despite being a shade keen at Goodwood when last seen. A Boy Named Ivy has claims off an appealing mark, but STAR SHIELD could have the edge. David O'Meara has kept the seven-year-old busy on the all-weather over the winter and after winning at Newcastle in January, he has finished third twice off this rating.
