Race Tip

GOLDEN DAYS can gain some compensation for a luckless run at Leopardstown last time. The Tracey Collins-trained mare was well backed for that contest but never saw daylight before flashing home once in the clear. Despite being a 17-race maiden, two of her better efforts have come over this course and distance. Her running style is suited to a straight track such as this and Ronan Whelan is back in the saddle. She certainly won't get too many better opportunities to shed her maiden tag. Company Keeping delivered on the promise of previous starts when winning the aforementioned Leopardstown handicap. John McConnell's five-year-old stayed on strongly but has work to do to confirm the placings with Golden Days at the revised weights. Lexington Liberty was second at Sligo on Sunday but proved he could also handle a straight track when sixth at the Curragh in March. He is well drawn in stall 16 and Daniel King continues to impress. Hot Bell and Tastyee are others to consider.
