Race Tip

GRAND SOIR bumped into a good one on his 'track' debut when chasing home Hunters Yarn at Limerick last month, but it was a nice run to finish second and he can step forward now. The Cokoriko gelding had won his sole outing between the flags in impressive fashion and looks a nice prospect in his own right. His owner Derek Kierans is also represented by Hartur D'arc, who can be given a chance too. The Diamond Boy gelding won his point-to-point by a wide margin before a nice run to finish sixth in a strong Navan bumper back in January. Cillians Charm is an interesting contender. He was thrown in at the deep end in the Champion Bumper last month and wasn't disgraced in finishing mid-division. The Sageburg gelding had been second in a bumper at Catterick prior to that and could be a player.
