Race Tip

This looks a nice opportunity for JULIES STOWAWAY to secure an overdue win over hurdles. He was a smart bumper horse, finishing seventh at Cheltenham, but is zero from five over timber. The seven-year-old was last seen finishing well beaten in a hot handicap at Fairyhouse but had some solid form prior to that, including chasing home Blue Lord at Punchestown last November, and with a mark of 124 he sets a high standard in a summer maiden hurdle. God Help Us has been placed in a couple of maiden hurdles here and has to be respected. He didn't run up to form when a well-beaten sixth at Limerick last time but a mistake at the last didn't help then. Fissa switches back to hurdling having been beaten favourite in a Down Royal bumper when last seen in February. The Saddler Maker gelding was third in a strong Punchestown maiden hurdle on his debut last October and would be a big player on that form.
