Race Tip

Very little form to go on with five of the eight declared making their racecourse debuts, and the other three having just their second starts and open to plenty of improvement. Bass Strait is a half-sister to Listed winner Nastase and ought to have plenty of pace as should Richard Hannon's Life's A Beach who is also having his first start, while Yarmouth fifth Penywern Taverner ran a race full of promise and is another to note. They should run well but CAVALLUCCIO caught the eye when a close up sixth on debut at Lingfield and with any improvement, the Richard Hughes trained colt should prove difficult to beat.
