Paul Nicholls has done well over the years with his French recruits and Grivetana looks another promising sort. She was beaten three and a quarter lengths when sent off favourite on her first start in Britain and ought to take a step forward here, but there may be value elsewhere with LAST OF A LEGEND for Harry Fry. The selection was well fancied at Ffos Las in November after filling the runner-up berth in a competitive Aintree bumper on debut, but she pulled hard on testing ground and was well beaten. Back on forecast better ground today, she can be seen to better effect. Chabichou Dupoitou stayed on well enough at Wincanton recently to finish third and would arguably have been closer but for being hampered in the closing stages, and she is another who can make her presence felt.
