Race Tip

Celebre D'Allen is unbeaten in three starts since joining Philip Hobbs from France, following up two successes on heavy ground at Haydock with a win on good to soft at Warwick. Grand Paradis comes into this a maiden over fences but he's a Grade 3 winner over timber and could prove well treated. Both have claims but lack previous Festival experience, unlike THE GLANCING QUEEN. Fifth in the mares' novice hurdle last year after acquitting herself well in a couple of Champion Bumpers, Alan King's mare has improved for the switch to fences, winning twice before taking second behind a subsequent Grade 1 winner in the Dipper here on New Year's Day. Yet to be tried in handicap company, she could prove well treated. Fusil Raffles was a shade disappointing over 3m at Doncaster but could be better over this trip, while Imperial Alcazar and Fancy Foundations are others to consider.
