Race Tip

ARRYCAN will have plenty of supporters as he reverts to hurdling on a mark 29lb lower than his chase rating. It was only two runs back that he beat Lord Lariat in a staying handicap chase at Fairyhouse and that horse went on to Irish Grand National glory. Arrycan enjoys good ground. Creggsman looks sure to come on from his first run for six months when sixth over an extended 2m4f in Tramore last month. He made up a fair amount of ground coming to the second last before the petrol understandably ran out before the final flight. This will be his second run for Gavin Cromwell. What Ever Oscar has faced difficult tasks in three maiden hurdles, but was backed in Clonmel. He could have more to offer now he dips his toes into handicap company. Tohellortoconnacht was a close third in Thurles behind a winner that has gone in again. Previous efforts over similar trips to this haven't been convincing, but this is a weak race.
