Race Tip

IT COULD BE YOU can go one better after a decent runner-up finish at Punchestown in April. That effort came in the valuable Connolly´s Red Mills EBF Auction Hurdle Final and he kept finding over an extended two and a half miles. He ploughs through heavy ground and patient tactics should see him coming home strongly. La Chanteuse catches the eye on handicap debut. Stuart Crawford has always thought a lot of this mare who has won twice over hurdles. After she spreadeagled the field at Down Royal, she was pitched into a good novice hurdle at Navan and a Grade One at Fairyhouse but was pulled up in both. Jockey JJ Slevin gets on well with her. Julies Stowaway won by the narrowest margin in Clonmel this month, but has winning form in the book on heavy ground and is a big player. Fortune Street, with Mike O'Connor's useful 7lb claim factored in, is another worth considering.
