Race Tip

Sunray Major could be the proverbial Group horse in a handicap following an easy success over 7f here last time out. Preference, however, is for the consistent NUGGET, who won with a lot more in hand than the winning margin of a neck suggests at Haydock last month. A taking winner of the Spring Cup back in April, Richard Hannon's charge goes well in big fields, and expect his challenge to be mounted late under Ryan Moore. An impressive winner of the Challenge Cup here, Aldaary deserves the utmost respect, along with the unexposed King Leonidas. Matthew Flinders has threatened to win a contest of this nature, while 2019 winner Escobar cannot be ruled out either. Dashing Roger, Sir Busker, and Rhoscolyn complete the shortlist.
