Race Tip

Happygolucky ran a huge race to finish second in the Ultima at Cheltenham last month and has to be feared despite a 2lb rise. Cloudy Glen outran big odds to finish second in the Kim Muir at the Festival and decent ground suited the eight-year-old well there, while Trevor Hemmings' passion for winners at this meeting is no closely-guarded secret. Fagan won on a testing surface at Newbury earlier this year but faces a totally different sort of test here, and it might be worth taking a chance on SNOW LEOPARDESS. Charlie Longsdon's mare performed with great credit in the National Hunt Chase, finishing fourth behind three smart animals, and could do better now dropped in distance. There is still mileage in her mark of 138 and she will handle these conditions better than most. Top Notch ran a blinder off top weight to finish third in the Paddy Power Plate and is also taken seriously under his talented 7lb claimer.
