Race Tip

EDWARDSTONE put in an exemplary round of jumping when landing the Arkle in decisive fashion last month, leaving his laboured rivals in his wake. Five of the seven Arkle victors who have attempted this double since the turn of the millennium have succeeded and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the eight-year-old continue the trend. His main rival appears to be Gentleman De Mee, who has taken a big step forward on his last two outings over the larger obstacles. Third Time Lucki has been unable to get the better of the Alan King-trained selection on two attempts this term but he also merits consideration.
